Rest and Renew with Autumnal Equinox and New Moon Energies
September 11-13, 2026, Cedar Cross Retreat Center, Lousiburg, NC
Do you find yourself in need of rest and renewed connection to Sacred Self? Do thoughts of respite, relaxation and artful creativity resonate with your Heart and Spirit?

Would you like to experience rest and renewal in a community of Soul seeking women?
In the natural world, energy ebbs and flows throughout the seasons. We welcome Spring's awakening after a time in Winter's frosty embrace. The shoots and sprouts of Spring become the abundance of Summer's fields, gardens and orchards. Then, before we know it, Autumn has arrived.

The Autumnal Equinox, a time when daylight and darkness are equal in length, signals an energetic shift from the exuberance and doing of Spring and Summer into the slower restfulness and being of Autumn. This equinox invites balance, reflection, and harvest.
Does your Soul's harvest bring balance to your body, mind and Spirit?

When we gather, our beloved moon will have just completed a full orbit around the Earth, finding rest in her New Moon phase. We may not be able to see her beautiful face illuminating the night sky, but she’ll be there, taking a well-deserved respite before resuming her lunar journey. The energy of New Moon signifies a powerful fresh start for setting intentions and planting seeds for the future.
What seeds and intentions will you sow now to benefit your highest good and personal growth?
The convergence of these potent energies creates an opportunity for deep Soul expansion and growth.
Autumnal Equinox Energy + New Moon Energy = Potent Powerful Connection to Sacred Self
Are you ready to sieze this opportunity to reconnect and nurture your Sacred Self?

This image depicts the balance of the Sun and Moon during the Autumnal Equinox. A time when there is an equal amount of daylight and darkness. This year the equinox falls on Tuesday, September 23rd when the moon will be in her Waxing Gibbous, phase. Full moon will occur on Saturday, September 26, 2026
During our time together, you'll be guided through walking the labyrinth and making collage cards to integrate your experience. Using imagery, symbolism, movement, and reflection, we'll explore the energies of the Autumnal Equinox and New Moon.
No art experience is needed—just curiosity and openness. Prior knowledge of the labyrinth or collage is not required.
All materials will be provided, including a variety of collage images and your own supply kit.
